Principal's Message:

Dear St. Peter Family,

On Sunday, we enter into Holy week, celebrating Palm Sunday. It is always so sad to remember how happy the crowds of people were to see Jesus at the beginning of the week and then how sorrowfully that week ended. We discussed on announcements this morning that Holy Week was the hardest week of Jesus' life and the most sorrowful week for His Mother. Next week, we will be very focused on Jesus and Mary, as we remember the unbelievable sacrifice that Jesus made for each one of us and the love with which He saved us. We will remember how the Blessed Mother stood at the foot of her Son's cross and how Jesus gave her to us for our own Mother. We welcome you to attend Mass with us Wednesday morning at 9:00 and the Stations of the Cross at 2:15, also on Wednesday. We're going to put our hearts into loving each other like Jesus did! Please join us in our good actions and prayers as we recall Jesus' passion, death, and His ultimate triumph in the Resurrection. Have a wonderful weekend, and we will keep all of you in our prayers next week!

St. Peter, Friend of Jesus,

PRAY FOR US!

National Junior Honor Society

Congratulations to the newest members of the St. Peter Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society! This Spring's inductees are eighth graders Cara McCormick, Nicholas Schaefer, and Mati Vlcek, and seventh graders Nikhil Hopkinson-Jain, Isaac Kuli, Lucas Myers, Julia Naguit, and Kinsey Schoening. We are very proud of all of you for your hard work and dedication to your learning. Well done!

Jesus Day

Our second graders spent the morning preparing for their First Holy Communion with our annual Jesus Day retreat. Students participated in bread-making, Catholic Jeopardy, a reenactment of the Last Supper, and other meaningful activities to help prepare their hearts and minds for their big day! A very special thank you to Mrs. Dieringer and Miss Deis who do a tremendous job preparing our second graders for the sacraments of Penance and First Communion, and a BIG thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make today so special. God is good!

Lunch With Father Hale

Father Hale might be the most popular person in the school cafeteria! Many times a week, Father stops in and spends some quality time with our students talking, laughing, praying, and of course eating. The kids love having Father Hale in the cafeteria...he makes everything more fun!
