St. Peter eNEWS For November 14, 2023

St. Peter Strong!

Thanksgiving Turkeys

Make your Thanksgiving feast a little less hectic by having the Holy Smokers smoke or fry your turkey this year! Sign up for your turkey in the Atrium.

Pajama Rama Nov 1- Dec 5

St. Peter Preschool is partnering with Pajama Rama to collect new pajamas. We are collecting sizes 2T-Adult (for teenage children) benefiting patients at Cook Children's and local children in need. Donations can be placed in the box located in the Atrium. Contact Jennifer Murff at jmurff@stpeterfw.org for more information.

Advent Devotions

Advent devotions are now available on the Welcome Table in the Atrium. During this Advent season our devotion is entitled Peace Came to Earth. In today’s world, Christmastime is often busy, hectic, and stressful but that’s not what Christmas is about. Christmas is about a manger and hay, stables and shepherds, and a swaddled baby called the Prince of Peace. Take a step back and celebrate the peace and simplicity of Christmas.

Make sure you are not missing out on any Church communications!

Stop by the Breeze table in the Atrium to verify the information we have for your family is correct! You can also contact Renee Burchell at rburchell@stpeterfw.org or Pam Morris at pmorris@stpeterfw.org to check that your information is up to date or to make any changes.

Church Extension Fund is a great way to invest in the Kingdom!

Church Extension Fund (CEF) is our ministry lender/partner that provides attractive interest rates for investors as well as lending to Lutheran churches in Texas for facility/land needs. When you invest with CEF, we receive an annual rebate as a % of our loan balance (tracking for over $12,000 this next year!).

As we prepare for our new facility, your investment with CEF will support our loan application and generate additional rebate dollars. Please look at the information on the table in the atrium under the "Opening Doors" banner and contact Pastor Balduc at rbalduc@stpeterfw.org with questions and to learn more.
