RUMMAGE Time Again!
It is almost Rummage Time. See the drop off and sale date schedule below.
Drop off Dates:
begins on Sunday, April 27 thru April 30. Please reference the "Not accepted" flyer before dropping off donations. Please do not drop off items before April 27.
Sale Dates:
Just Jewelry Sale: Thursday, May 1 from 6-8 p.m. in the library.
General Sale: Friday, May 2 from 6-9p.m.
Bag Sale: Saturday, May 3 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (half-price off sale)
If you are new or if you have never enjoyed this special fundraiser, please read an excerpt from the Rummage Report printed in the 2024 Annual Report here.
A copy will be hanging from the bulletin board by the kitchen entrance. This tells what we do and how we do it.
Kate Boyce will soon be setting up a Sign-Up Genius for volunteer sign up online. If you have not received this option thru email in the past, please send Jeanne Robson an email so we can add you.
Paper signup sheets with the different dates will also be available on the bulletin board as well. However, you have to write down what task you want to help with.
Last year, we hit an all-time high for receipts. However, we cannot do it without two important factors: Your Time and Your Donations! We need lots of stuff to sell and lots of people to help. So, clean out those drawers and closets. Ask yourself if you really need that item that you have not used in five years.
Any questions, email Jeanne Robson at jcrobson@comcast.net. Share the flyer with your family and friends.
| | "There are so many reasons for songwriters to gather together and compose beautiful music. In Christ Alone is a perfect example of how the search for God can generate so many beautiful thoughts and sounds. Written by Stuart Townend and Keith Getty, we find the illustration of their journey to find faith and the true Christ. Keith Getty made a connection with Stuart Townend, who had already written a well-received song, How Deep the Father’s Love for Us. Stuart approached Keith with the idea of writing a song with sufficient verses to tell the entire story of Christ as written in the Bible. The composition required the study and understanding of the Gospels." | | Donate to the Food Cupboard this Lent | |
This Lent, consider including items for the food cupboard in your Lenten giving. Drop them off in the wagon at the back of the church on Sundays, or place them on the shelves at the food cupboard entrance any time during the week.
We need soup, mac & cheese, spaghetti-Os, protein such as meat stews, chicken, tuna, Spam, and peanut butter and jelly.
Thank you for your support,
Audrey Kipphut and Rick DeKalb.
