St. Peter's Peeps Gathering Tomorrow, April 4, at 6 p.m.

Attend the Final Lenten Prayer Practices Session on Monday, April 7.
The Lenten "Prayer Practices and Spirituality" series, sponsored by parishes in the Montgomery County Deanery, explores ways to deepen your prayer life. The evening begins with a simple meal of soup and bread at 6:30 p.m., followed by the session from 7–8 p.m. at All Hallows Episcopal Church, 262 Bent Road, Wyncote.

Donate your Free Ham or Giant Points to St. Peter's Easter Brunch
Giant is running its free ham promotion from April 1- April 20. Customers who redeem 400 points can take home a free ham.
The fellowship team is asking parishioners who choose not to use their points to consider redeeming them for a ham to donate to St Peter’s. Donated hams would be used for the Easter Day brunch in April.

Help bring the powerful message of Good Friday to life by reading scripture during our Tenebrae service.
The service will take place at 7 p.m. and requires 5 additional lectors.

Parishioners to participate in Easter Vigil at the Cathedral on Saturday, April 19
Marsha Blake will be formally received into the Episcopal Church, and Keirstin Sibley will reaffirm her Baptismal promises in rites administered by Bishop Daniel Gutiérrez during the Easter Vigil at 5 p.m. April 19 at the Diocesan Cathedral, 19 S 38th St. in Philadelphia. All are invited to attend.
Please keep Marsha and Keirstin in your prayers.
Singers from participating congregations are invited to sing with a combined choir for the Cathedral's Easter Vigil service. The African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas Chancel Choir, directed by Jay Fluellen, and the Cathedral Singers, directed by Thomas Lloyd, will be singing Glenn Burleigh's "Jesus is a rock in a weary land" and Wendell Whalum's "The Lily of the Valley." The only combined rehearsal will be at 2:30 p.m. before the service. Singers will vest as they normally would for choir. The Cathedral has extra vestments and hard copies of music as needed.

Palm Sunday, April 13
A choral Eucharist starting outside in the courtyard (weather permitting) with the blessing and procession of palm branches at 10 a.m.
Self-Guided Stations of the Cross
Starting April 14 and continuing through Holy Week, a self-guided booklet on the Stations of the Cross will be available in the church. The guide is based on ten images from Kathrin Burleson's The Soul's Journey: An Artist's Approach to the Stations of the Cross, prints of which will be in the window wells of the church. The worship space will be open from about 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for quiet prayer and reflection throughout the week.
Garden of Repose
Plantings and flowers in the St. Philip-in-the-Fields chapel at St. Peter’s create a space for quiet, personal contemplation during the three days leading up to Easter.
The space will be open from Thursday, April 17 in the afternoon through Friday, April 18.
Maundy Thursday, April 17
Agape Meal at 6 p.m. -- A simple supper of soup and bread, with traditional prayers over the food and sharing of Scripture, will precede the service. Sign up to bring soup, bread, or wine here.
Maundy Thursday Service at 7:15 p.m. -- A choral Eucharist including foot washing and the stripping of the altar.

Good Friday, April 18
Good Friday Tenebrae Service at 7 p.m. As the church slowly dims to darkness, contemplate through Scripture, music, prayers, and silence the saving work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
Holy Saturday, April 19
The Great Vigil of Easter, Saturday, March 30 at 7 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Whitemarsh, 7020 Camp Hill Rd. Fort Washington, PA.
Easter Sunday, April 20
Easter service at St. Peter’s at 10 a.m. Celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus with this joyful choral Eucharist, followed by brunch in the parish hall and an Easter Egg hunt in the courtyard.

If you would like to remember or celebrate loved ones this Easter, please consider donating to the Flower Fund.
The suggested donation is $30. Please submit your check and loved ones' names to the office by April 15 to be included in the Easter leaflet.

Donations can be dropped off in the parish hall starting Sunday, April 27 thru Wed., April 30. Please reference the "Not accepted" flyer before dropping off donations. Please do not drop off items before April 27.

Just Jewelry Sale: Thursday, May 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the library.
General Sale: Friday, May 2 from 6 p.m. to 9p.m.
Bag Sale: Saturday, May 3 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (half-price sale)

| | Sparkly Sundays! Every 4th Sunday in May | |
Starting in May, parishioner Bryan Pneuma will be sharing their handmade crystal jewelry on the 4th Sunday of each month after services in Fellowship Hall.
As a fundraiser for the church, 50% of all jewelry sales on Sparkly Sundays will go to St. Peter’s!
Bryan is the owner and artisan of Bryan’s Beads & Blessings, a local small business specializing in handmade metalwork and crystal creations.

Charlie Zahm at St. Peter's: Saturday, May 10 at 7 p.m.
Charlie Zahm, known for his traditional Irish and Scottish Celtic music, will perform with Tad Marks on the fiddle at St. Peter's this spring. As the concert gets closer, we will be asking for help with selling tickets at the door, welcoming people, setting up/cleaning up, and providing refreshments. Tickets cost $15 for adults, refreshments included. Children under 12 are free.

The day featured talks, interactive activities, raffles, and skits, including representation from the board of the Province 3 chapter of Episcopal Church Women. Special thanks to organizer Mary Rivera and everyone from St. Peter's who volunteered, brought food, and supported the day. | | "'God So Loved The World' is an excerpt from a larger choral work known as The Crucifixion, which is an oratorio meditation on the passion of Christ. It was composed by John Stainer in England in 1887. Stainer was influenced by the Passions of J.S. This Lent, consider including items for the food cupboard in your giving. Drop them off in the wagon at the back of the church on Sundays, or place them on the shelves at the food cupboard entrance any time during the week.
We need soup, mac & cheese, spaghetti-Os, protein such as meat stews, chicken, tuna, Spam, and peanut butter and jelly.
