Stewardship All Year Round Adult Forum

This Sunday, March 16


This Sunday, Rev. Barb and the stewardship committee, including Robin Chambers-Dixon and Rebecca Fellerman, will lead a forum following morning worship that explores giving "time, talent and treasure" throughout the year.


Forum participants will discuss how how we invest ourselves in parish life during the different liturgical seasons and explore new ways St. Peter’s can enhance such participate and giving year-round. Based on our partnership with Tens.org, the theme for this year's Stewardship efforts is “Tell Out My Soul.”

Ceasefire PA to Present During Lunch Club on Wednesday, March 19


We welcome Grant Maurer, the head of Cease Fire Southeast PA, on Wednesday, March 19 as our lunch club speaker.


In January, Ceasefire PA provided materials to support our Souls Shot Exhibition. We are excited to invite them back to discuss this important work.


Lunch Club is St. Peter's monthly luncheon, where we enjoy delicious meals and fellowship. A free-will donation for the meal is greatly appreciated.

Join The Rev. Mary McCullough at All Hallows Church, 262 Bent Road, Wyncote, on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 8:45 a.m. to noon for a morning of meditation on the themes of "Suffering, Surrender, and the Embrace of Grace." Register here. 

Episcopal 101 Classes Via Zoom, Next Class on March 19


Rev. Barb will lead an introduction to the Episcopal Church at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays during Lent (the remaining classes are March 19, April 2, and April 9) on Zoom.


The classes provide an introduction to Episcopal beliefs and practice as well as preparation for adults who wish to be formally received or confirmed in the Episcopal Church. For more information please contact Rev. Barb at Stpeter654rector@gmail.com.

The Montgomery Deanery Lenten Series: Prayer Practices and Spirituality Continues until Monday, April 7


Join members of local Episcopal Churches on Monday evenings during Lent for "Prayer Practices and Spirituality," a series exploring different ways to deepen your prayer life. Each evening begins with a simple meal of soup and bread at 6:30 p.m., followed by an interactive session from 7–8 p.m. at All Hallows Episcopal Church, 262 Bent Road, Wyncote.

This beautiful candlelight service of Taizé chant and prayer invites all to enter the simple rhythms of the Lenten season on Wednesday, March 26 at 7 p.m. at St. Peter's.

Supporting One Another during Difficult Times

Parishioner Deborah Way’s son, Greg O’Neill, has suddenly fallen ill and is in critical condition, needing help. Please read the story below and offer your prayers and support in any way you can.

Diocesan Retreat for First Responders Affected by Gun Violence: Wednesday, March 18

The diocese is holding a retreat for first responders who have experienced gun violence. It is scheduled on Wednesday, March 18 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Retreat House in Bryn Mawr.

Donate to the Food Cupboard this Lent

This Lent, consider including items for the food cupboard in your Lenten giving. Drop them off in the wagon at the back of the church on Sundays, or place them on the shelves at the food cupboard entrance any time during the week.


We need soup, mac & cheese, spaghetti-Os, protein such as meat stews, chicken, tuna, Spam, and peanut butter and jelly.

Episcopal Church Women Rally Saturday, March 29 at 8 a.m.

The Episcopal Church Women is hosting its ECW Rally at St. Peter's. The event is for all in the Diocese who identify as women to come together for a day of fun and learning. The event, which includes lunch, is free. We will have inspiring speakers sharing stories of the contributions of women in the church. Represented parishes are asked to bring a poster showcasing the work women are doing within their community. You can expect a variety of activities, including games and surprise entertainment as well as raffles with great prizes.


St. Peter's kitchen coordinators plan to prepare a delicious lunch for everyone to enjoy. We are seeking breakfast donations of coffee cakes, breakfast rolls, or donuts. Doors will open at 8 a.m. Additionally, we’ll need a few volunteers to help with cleanup after the event.


Spanish translators will be available for this event. Share the flyer with your family and friends.

Save the Date

Charlie Zahm at St. Peter's: Saturday, May 10 at 7 p.m.

Charlie Zahm, known for his traditional Irish and Scottish Celtic music, will perform with Tad Marks on the fiddle at St. Peter's this spring. As the concert gets closer, we will be asking for help with selling tickets at the door, welcoming people, setting up/cleaning up, and providing refreshments.

All concert proceeds will support the parish programs.
