This Mother's Day Sunday, May 11, Pastor Steve will continue the sermon series Faithful Witness in an Age of Despair with the message Graceful Distinctiveness from 1 Peter 1:13-2:3.
At St. Peter's, we want to ensure that everyone can fully participate in our in-house worship. If you are having difficulties hearing the message, we have sound-amplifying devices available at the back of the Sanctuary. Ask an usher for help.

Wednesday Bible Study
9:30 AM in Room C/D
Detective stories show us that nothing is ever truly insignificant—what seems like a minor or irrelevant detail often turns out to be the key to cracking the case. Every word, every moment, is placed with purpose. John's Gospel works in much the same way. Far from being a random collection of stories and sayings, it's a carefully crafted narrative where each detail points to a deeper truth. In this practical and accessible study, readers are invited to slow down and pay attention to the clues John includes—clues that reveal the true identity of Jesus, the new creation he ushers in, and the profound transformation that brings to our lives. Whether you're new to the Bible or have studied it for years, this journey through John’s Gospel offers fresh insights and rich discoveries that speak to the heart and mind alike. All are welcome!

Saturday Women's Bible Study
Begins May 24
9:00 AM in Room C/D
As you read the book of Acts, you may wonder: are these the same disciples I read about in the gospels? The ones who doubted in Galilee and ran for their lives in Gethsemane? The answer is: no. They are different. The Spirit dwells within them. And what God did for them, he longs to do for you.
Join with other women as they walk the roads of Acts—the amazing account of God's active Spirit among his servants and Christ's Church spreading to the world. As you read, study, journal, and discuss the book of Acts, watch for these key themes that will be unpacked throughout the book:
- The foundations of the early church established in the aftermath of Jesus' resurrection and ascension.
- The Holy Spirit empowered the disciples to spread the gospel into the world as Jesus commanded.
- The first struggle of the gospel was to stand independently of Jewish tradition and faith.
- The sacrifice Jesus made was for all people.
