Worship at St. Peter's

This Pentecost Sunday, May 28, we have the honor of having Rev. Tim McCalmont bring the message The Birthday Gift With a Promise, from Acts 2:1-13. The service will begin at 9:00 AM in the Sanctuary.

The tradition of wearing red on Pentecost represents the transformation by the Holy Spirit in our hearts. As the disciples were touched by "tongues of fire" on Pentecost, we too gather and leave with the fire of hope offered by God's Spirit. Wearing red is a sign that the good news of Jesus came to all who were present in a language they could understand. You are invited to wear red this Sunday to proclaim the reality of grace, hope, and salvation in Jesus.

The FLOWERS this Sunday are given by Joan Shera-Lander and Chuck Lander in celebration of their grandson Vance's 13th birthday.
