Worship at St. Peter's

This Sunday, November 24, at our 9:00 AM service, Pastor Steve will bring the message Healthy Habits from 1 Thessalonians 5:12-28.

At St. Peter's, we want to ensure that everyone can fully participate in our in-house worship. If you are having difficulties hearing the message, we have sound-amplifying devices available at the back of the Sanctuary. Ask an usher for help.

Heidi Swidrak gives the FLOWERS this Sunday in loving memory of her father, Dave Swidrak, on his birthday.

Weekly Bible Studies

Mid-week Bible Study

Wednesdays, 9:30-11:00 AM

Room C/D

Arguably, the 20th century's most influential Christian writer, C.S. Lewis, sought to explain and defend the beliefs that nearly all Christians at all times hold in common. His simple yet deeply profound classic, originally delivered as a series of radio broadcasts, is a book to be thoroughly digested by believers and generously shared with skeptics.

Mere Christianity delves into how embracing Christ's teachings leads to an inner transformation. Lewis discusses the implications of Christian beliefs for everyday living and how a transformed humanity emerges through an intimate relationship with Christ.

Saturday Morning Women’s Bible Study 9:00-10:30 AM

Room C/D

Ever wonder if you’ve stumbled one too many times for God to use someone like you? Could you benefit from an encounter with God’s unending, unbending, unswerving love and devotion?

If you answer yes, it’s time to see how God’s grace transformed Jacob’s life. And if you feel undeserving of God’s grace, this book will serve as a refresher course on God’s perfect plan to use imperfect people to do great things.

No one is more suited to help assure you of God’s grace than Jacob. He was less a prodigy and more a prodigal. Strong on savvy. Weak on conscience. Jacob took advantage of his famished brother and pulled the wool over the eyes of his dying father, yet God never turned his back on Jacob. And he won’t turn his back on you.

Annual December

Socks & Blanket Tree

December 1 - 22

Socks and blankets are often requested by those without a home, at risk of homelessness, or in a homeless center, so once again, we will be collecting socks and blankets for those in need. Bring a pair of new child, youth, man, or woman’s socks or a new blanket to church from December 1 through December 22. We will deliver the items to homeless women with children, at-risk high school students, homeless adults, seniors in our community, and veterans who served our country. We appreciate all you do to care for those in our community and share God’s love with those around us!

If you have questions or need help getting the socks or blankets to the church campus, please e-mail outreach@stpetershb.org
