Lenten Study of Luke

Tuesdays at Noon or Thursdays at 7pm

During Lent join a 40 day study of the Gospel of Luke, using Adam Hamilton's Luke: Jesus and the Outsiders, Outcasts, and Outlaws as a guide. There are two options for meetings: Tuesdays at noon in the Parish Hall, or Thursdays at 7pm on Zoom.

Sunday Adult Formation

Join us in the Parish Hall at 9am on Sundays during Lent to gain perspectives on God, religion, Jesus, salvation, the cross, the Bible, and the church from seven Christian thought leaders, using the “Animate Faith” series, featuring Brian McLaren, Lillian Daniel, Mark Scandrette, Shane Hipps, Nadia Bolz-Weber, Lauren Winner and Bruce Reyes-Chow.

Pizza and Palms: A Walk Through Holy Week for Kids

Sunday, April 13 at 11:30 in Keiser Hall

Join us for a pizza lunch and a family friendly, hands on walk through Lent and Holy Week. This is an act of worship through movement and activities.


Maundy Thursday Agape Dinner

Thursday, April 17 at 6pm

Join us for an Agape Meal, Eucharist and Stripping of the Altar as we remember the events of Maundy Thursday and prepare for Good Friday.



Outreach


Least of These Canned Food Drive

Every year, as a discipline of Lenten

charity, we collect and bless canned food and other nonperishable food items to

donate to The Hem and Martha's Mission. You may place your items in the basket in

the narthex. They will be brought forward to be blessed during the offering.

Farewell to Buddy Payne

Buddy, our youth leader and life long parishioner at St. Peter's, will be headed to Parrish, Florida for his new role as Director of Camp and Outdoors at Camp DaySpring at the end of this month. We will say goodbye to Buddy at coffee hour next week (March 23), so please plan to stay and wish him well!

A weekend event designed especially to 

respond to the unique challenges and 

concerns of young people in grades 6-8 to help participants grow in their love of 

themselves, others and for Jesus Christ. *An adult chaperone from St. Peter's is needed for this event. Please contact the Rev. Michelle if you can help.

Rose Sunday Potluck

March 30 at 11:15am

Rose Sunday is a traditional Sunday in Lent that is considered a day of relaxation from normal Lenten rigours; a day of hope with Easter at last within sight. At St. Peter's, we celebrate with a potluck!
