St. Rep. Ford Joins A Hall of Fame Cause in Conjunction with NBA All Star 

Tim Hardaway’s Induction into the NBA Hall of Fame

CHICAGO–On Aug. 30, 2022 from 9-11:00 AM, NBA All Star Tim Hardaway, The Support Group, C.A.N.D.O.R Enterprises and St. Rep. La Shawn K. Ford, will participate in a discussion on pathways to successful reentry at the Cook County Department of Corrections (2700 S. California Ave.) with returning residents.

THE SUPPORT GROUP and C.A.N.D.O.R. Enterprises NFP, will be going into the Cook County Jail to talk to the returning residents about Tim’s Hall of Fame Keys to Success: On and Off the Court. Tim Hardaway Sr. hopes to show the men how his very same Hall of Fame Keys to Success can be applied to their own lives to achieve successful reentry ‘against all odds’. Illinois State Representative La Shawn K. Ford–8th District, a longtime advocate for supportive reentry services joins these reentry efforts.
