This Week at
St. Robert Catholic School!
Dear Parents,

It has been another great couple of weeks of school! The weather has turned, and it is starting to feel like summer! What a beautiful blessing!

Work has again been happening on the playground and hopefully we will be able to open a section of it before school is out.

Just as an FYI, teachers, and all adults in the school, although fully vaccinated, continue to wear their masks in solidarity with the students. We ask that all adults who enter the school please do the same.

Some great news is that all mask mandates will be lifted on July 1, which gives me great hope that next year we will not have to wear masks at school! We will continue to sanitize the rooms twice a day and continue with increased handwashing as these just seem like good practices to continue. We are looking forward to being able to see smiles and share our smiles with the students during the school day!

I know that the school year is coming to an end and that it is getting harder to get moving in the morning, but please make an effort to arrive at school prior to 8:00 am.  Mrs. Gordon and I find ourselves out front until 8:10 many mornings with about ¼ of our students arriving after 8:00 am.  Please help your child understand the importance of being on time and the importance of the beginning of the school day activities by arriving before 8:00 am.

Final All School Mass is Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 10:00am. We hope everyone can join us! There is no need to RSVP for this Mass with the new guidance from the State. However, it would be helpful to your child’s teacher to let him/her know if you are attending.

The End of the School Year Picnic is almost here! This year-end celebration is scheduled for June 3, 2021, starting at 5:15!  We have a lot of fun packed into a short amount of time! The large parking lot, directly behind the school, will be coned off and no cars will be able to enter this area. Please park to the west of the large lot and walk to a parking space to set up your picnic. Prayer will be led by Fr. Len at 5:30 and the Knights of Columbus will have a short announcement following the prayer.

Peace,
Liz
