St. Robert Catholic School students love God, their neighbors, science, technology, engineering, math and learning so they can
be the best they can be.

This Week at
St. Robert Catholic School!
Dear Parents,

Happy Advent! I have had the pleasure of sharing my Jesse Tree and ornaments with the students these past couple of weeks. Years ago, when I was teaching 2nd grade at Corpus Christi Catholic School, a mom made me 25 clay ornaments that went along with a Jesse Tree book. The book contains stories, scripture, and prayers for each ornament. This gift has allowed me to share the stories from when God created the world to the birth of Jesus with students for the past 15 years!

This is one of my favorite things to do with the kids during the Advent season. They love seeing the different ornaments, guessing which Bible story it represents, and then seeing them on the tree in the office. I am always impressed with what they students already know, and what they remember from year to year. The practice of telling the Old Testament stories to the kids really helps them focus on Jesus and the beauty of his miraculous birth! Ask your students to tell you about their favorite ornament and story so far!

I hope that each and everyone of you has a wonderful Christmas and New Year! We are all in need of this time with family and friends. I will be praying for our school and the blessings of a wonderful and healthful 2022!

Peace,
Liz

to Help Us Reach
Our Goal!
Update - Fr. Len Sudlik Scholarship Fund

With the help of the our parish Knights of Columbus chapter and many parish families, we are steadily moving closer to our final goal to reach the threshold to allow for scholarship funds to be awarded.

We are so grateful for all of the generous donations already received.

We have already achieved our initial goal of $5,000 which allows for the fund to be established and we are steadily moving toward the final goal of $25,000 which is the threshold we need to cross to begin awarding scholarship money to our students. We are excited to report that we have already reached $17,900, more than halfway there!

We are asking our school and parish families to prayerfully consider making a donation to help us reach our final goal. Any amount is welcome!

If you are interested in making a donation... Please contact Liz Peters or Gen DeWildt. Donation checks can be made payable to "St. Robert Catholic School" with a notation of "Scholarship Fund" in the memo area.
