Virtue of the Week...Responsibility
Fulfilling our just duties: accepting the consequences of one's words and actions, intentional or unintentional.

HSA has moved
the date of this fundraiser to
coincide with
Catholic Schools Week
New Date...
Saturday January 29
Important Note! The HSA is seeking silent auction donations.

If you are interested in donating an item to the silent auction, please contact the HSA via email at [email protected].
Report Card Information

It's so hard to believe that is already the end of the first quarter and time for report cards!

For all Kindergarten through 3rd grade students, report cards will be available and accessible on Infinite Campus through the Parent Portal beginning on Wednesday, November 3. If you have not set up your Parent Portal on Infinite Campus please use the following link to set up your account....

Please answer the first prompt for the "district" with "Diocese of Grand Rapids". If you have
any trouble setting up your account, please contact Gen DeWildt at [email protected]
or at ph 616 455-4966.

Note for Preschool and Young 5s Parents...
Reports cards for Preschool and Young 5s students are done twice a year after the 2nd and 4th semesters, so there will not be report cards for 1st quarter for Preschool and Young 5s. Developmental progress for these students will be covered with parents at the Parent/Teacher Conferences this week.

Tennis Shoes!

Please be sure your student is wearing actual tennis shoes on the day of their gym class. It becomes extremely difficult and it presents a significant safety hazard when students are wearing boots, dress shoes, etc... during gym.

An important part of gym class is to access the student's agility, flexibility, and movement skills and when students are not wearing shoes that give them support and have the appropriate safe sole meant for gym floors and physical activity it affects their performance assessments.

Coat Drive!
A warm coat!
Home and School Association is holding a
Coat Drive this month.

Please consider donating new or gently used coats to
keep someone warm this winter. Coats can be dropped
off during car line before and after school or you
can bring coats to the school entrance to be dropped
in the large red box at the front school entrance.

HSA will be collecting coats until November 15. Donations will be brought to Jefferson Elementary School in Ionia - K- though 5th Grade.

Thank you for helping kids in need as we approach the
cold winter months.

Please Help Us Reach
Our Goal!
Update - Fr. Len Sudlik Scholarship Fund

With the help of the our parish Knights of Columbus chapter and many parish families, we are steadily moving closer to our final goal to reach the threshold to allow for scholarship funds to be awarded.

We are so grateful for all of the generous donations already received.

We have already achieved our initial goal of $5,000 which allows for the fund to be established and we are steadily moving toward the final goal of $25,000 which is the threshold we need to cross to begin awarding scholarship money to our students. We are excited to report that we have already reached $17,900, more than halfway there!

We are asking our school and parish families to prayerfully consider making a donation to help us reach our final goal. Any amount is welcome!

If you are interested in making a donation... Please contact Liz Peters or Gen DeWildt. Donation checks can be made payable to "St. Robert Catholic School" with a notation of "Scholarship Fund" in the memo area.

All family members are welcome! Parents, please remember to wear your mask if you are sitting in the student section.
