"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."
2 Corinthians 5:17
Greetings from Mr. G
Welcome back to our halls. We are delighted to be on site, hearing students in the classrooms as they continue their learning journey under the guidance of our dedicated teachers. Together we are moving forward with a sense of HOPE.
Dear St. Rose School Families,
Our first week back has gone smoothly. I trust you all enjoyed a peaceful Christmas break. It is always refreshing to step away for a bit so we return with renewed energy. Thank you so much for your abundant good wishes, generous gifts and ongoing support. We are a blessed community.
This month we focus on Catholic Schools and all that makes this educational experience so special. Our annual Open House till take place on Sunday January 31st. Given current circumstances it will be held virtually via a new platform that allows prospective families to meet with us online and go on a dimensional tour of the school. We will also be offering 20 minute designated break out sessions with every teacher. Our Preschool Virtual tour will take place on Monday, February 1st in a similar fashion. We will be posting flyers and additional information soon; please share the word.
Have you registered your child(ren) for the 2021-2022 school year yet? If not, please do so before January 30th at a reduced registration fee of $150 so that we can save your seat. Current families are precious to us -- we want you here! On January 31st registration will open to the public at which time we can no longer guarantee seats. Please refer to the December 16th letter from me or email Mrs. Coppola, email@example.com, if you need the link.
We are looking forward to celebrating Catholic Schools Week January 31-February 6th. Plans are underway for fun and meaningful activities to showcase our school spirit and share our love for the wonderful education provided, and the bonds that are formed, in these halls.
This month we also have an opportunity to support our Tuition Raffle -- if means allow please purchase a ticket for the opportunity to win $10,000 in tuition (see details in this newsletter).
We continue to monitor the Covid 19 situation and appreciate your cooperation in adhering to all safety measures. Please be sure to complete the daily symptom checklist, confer with Nurse Bonnie about symptoms and out of state travel and keep up to date with the latest important documents.
I know you join me in praying for peace, protection and unity in our nation. Day after day we are privileged to work with students whose honesty, intrinsic kindness and vast abilities remind us that God is at work and brighter days are to come.
Enjoy your weekend.
In the interest of keeping our school community informed about the latest updates with Covid please read the attached letter and peruse the additional documents included.
If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me.
If you have any questions please email Mrs. Monica Ortega, Athletic Director, firstname.lastname@example.org
Happy New Year! We hope everyone enjoyed the holidays and that getting back into the swing of the school routine is going smoothly.
Just a few notes as we kick off the new year: We are excited to announce that this year's Golf Outing will take place on Monday, May 24th at the Redding Country Club, so mark your calendars! Registration will open soon. This is a big fundraiser for our school and is a way to show support for St. Rose while having fun, meeting other families and getting some exercise in an outdoor setting.
We encourage families to tap into our Uniform Exchange for gently used clothing items. We'd like to thank Christine Rivera for volunteering to take over the grades 5-8 exchange. Please send any requests to email@example.com (you can also check out the SRS Parents facebook group page for recent posts about the uniform exchange.)
Best wishes for a healthy, safe 2021!

Smile! These photos, taken last year, remind us what a blessing our now 8th grade students are to the school. They continue to work, serve, create and be role models. We look forward to celebrating all of our 8th graders in the months ahead.
