" For we are God's fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building."
1 Corinthians 3:9
Dear St. Rose School Families,
We were blessed to have Bishop Caggiano celebrate mass today. His presence made our weekly gathering all the more special. Sister Thaddeus and I were able to greet the Bishop and present a gift bag containing remembrances of St. Rose School. He sends his best to each and every family, assuring you of his prayers.
The month is moving along quickly and we have a lot going on! Please take note of the following:
*2021-2022 Registration -- save your
child's seat at the discounted $150
fee by January 30th. We want you here!
Registration opens to the public January
31st at which point we can no longer
guarantee seats and we do have waiting
lists for most classes. Please email Mrs. Coppola, email@example.com, with questions.
*Peek A Boo 2's -- this popular program has returned at the Preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Email firstname.lastname@example.org
*Catholic Schools Week, February 1-6:
We are really excited to show our school spirit and serve our community as we celebrate all that makes St. Rose School and Catholic education important. Mrs. B has all the details in her Student Life Update.
*Tuition Raffle -- There are 10 days until we draw the winner. Please help us sell as many tickets as possible between now and then. This is an important fundraiser for our school and it's a wonderful potential prize.
*Report cards will be sent home next Friday, January 29th. We commend all students and teachers for their hard work and commitment as we close out Quarter 2 and embark on Quarter 3. Education is a treasure.
*Sacrament of First Reconciliation will take place for Mrs. Heyder's 2nd Grade class on January 30th at 9:30 a.m. in the church. Only one parent/guardian will be able to attend with each child. Let us keep our 2nd graders in special prayer during this important time in their lives.
Thank you for adhering to the Covid 19 guidelines. I am especially grateful to Nurse Bonnie for all that she is doing to keep our community safe and informed. Let us continue to pray for those who are sick, for those on the front lines and for an end to this pandemic.
I am thankful to the students who will be speaking at masses this weekend about their experiences at St. Rose School as well as to inform parishioners about our virtual open house. Thanks also to the parents for getting them there. Word of mouth is a powerful way to encourage enrollment and ensure our bright future.
We have a short time left to help the school meet its goal of selling tickets for the Tuition Raffle! The HSA is doing our best to support the raffle’s success. As an incentive for the school to achieve the tuition raffle goals, the HSA is offering an all-school pizza party (with COVID safety and remote learners in mind, of course!) as a reward for our whole community, if we sell 250 tickets or more! This would be great fun for the kids and be a nice "change" from the bagged lunches everyday. Please help sell those tickets so we can celebrate our collective success!
We are planning the next HSA meeting for February and will confirm the date and time vie email to all very shortly. As a reminder please send any questions you may have in advance of the meeting to email@example.com. We will do our best to get all questions addressed!
Have a great weekend!

We need your help! If you are planning to purchase a raffle ticket please do so between now and January 30th. You can also help by spreading the word -- this is an important fundraiser for our school! Thanks!
Parent reps will be at car walk next Thursday and Friday afternoons -- look for the balloons!
Mrs. Sweeting has tickets in the office weekdays, 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Stop by or call, 203-426-5102.
Email raffle @srles.com. We can arrange to meet you at school or credit card information can be taken over the phone.
You've got to be in it to win it! The raffle is open to anyone age 18 or older and can be applied to tuition at ANY K-12 school, college/university accredited in the United States. A great gift idea for Grandparents who can split the winnings among more than one grandchild! Good luck!
