Dear St. Serra Parents,

Today will be another incredible moment at our beautiful St. Serra School as the eighth annual Tuition Assistance Luncheon will be taking place at 12 noon to help raise funds for our families who are in need of tuition assistance. The event is sold out with an expected 300 attending.

The Diocese of Orange, Department of Catholic Schools, will be well represented at today’s luncheon with Dr. Erin Barisano and Dr. Denise Valadez watching with pride as their friend and colleague, Dr. Brad Snyder, Director of Educational Programs in the Catholic Schools Office, is presented with the “Our Lady of Guadalupe Award of Commitment”. St. Serra awards this to a recipient who demonstrates a passion and significant commitment to Catholic education in an extraordinary way, to ensure all students have an opportunity for a Catholic school education. Additionally, in attendance will be our four parishes, our Catholic High Schools, as well as many past, present and future Serra families.

It is an event such as this that allows us to retain many good students and families at our school, when their circumstances might make it difficult for them to remain. As we continue to bring back events and opportunities to our campus, I encourage all of our families to participate in them to the best of their ability. We have many talented and resourceful parents in our school community and by collaborating, listening, and utilizing those talents we can accomplish so much more for the benefit of your child’s faith formation and educational experience. The partnership between the school and home is vitally important in your child’s experience at school, and when we work together as a TEAM good things happen!

Always Striving,
Tim Tolzda
Sr. Principal

COVID-19 Protocol & Student Symptom Decision Tree
