When to Use
FACTS vs. Canvas
We have had some confusion in our community of when to login to FACTS vs. Canvas. We would like to share a quick comparison guide to help you understand when to use each product.
Canvas for Parents
We are pleased to announce that Canvas for Parents is now available! We have created a step-by-step guide, titled "How to Log In and Navigate Canvas (Parent Observer)," on accessing Canvas as a Parent Observer so you can be in tune with your child's education!
Celebration Book Club
The Celebration Book Club is the library's main funding for new books. Celebrate your student's birthday, special accomplishment, First Communion, favorite holiday, or dedicate a book in honor of your child's teacher. If you would like to participate in CBC, simply fill out the form online. Students may choose their new book from the selection.

Positivity Brings a Smile
If you are a 5th-8th grade parent and enjoy watching your child receive the positive incentives known as merit points, we are asking for your help! Due to COVID-19 and several other challenges this year, our merit incentive program has hit some bumps in the road. If you are able, please donate a small $5 gift card from a local or online retail or food services provider.
Parent Service Hours for 2020-21 School Year
At this time, it is very important that we limit the number of visitors on campus, including our wonderful parent volunteers. As a result, we are waiving the mandatory Volunteer Service Hour Requirement for this school year. However, we still need you! As we proceed through the year, and if we are able to open our campus, we will inform you as to what volunteer opportunities will be available.
October 23rd - Minimum Day
Friday, October 23, will be a minimum day so St. Serra can conduct a deep cleaning of our entire campus. Please mark this date on your calendar!
NOTE: This is a change in schedule.
School Policy Update
In-person, or virtually, students are expected to adhere to the core principles of Catholic social teaching, especially in our current political climate. Therefore, at the discretion of the school administration, student clothing, all personal belongings (for example: face masks, folders, backpacks) and backgrounds of virtual screens may not have any representations of political parties or entities. Students will receive friendly reminders to remove representations that do not adhere to the school policy. After reminders, further action may be required by the school staff to eliminate the images. Ultimately, St. Serra is called to strive to create a principled environment of respect for differences, reverent listening and civil discourse.
