A MESSAGE FROM SR. PRINCIPAL, MR. TOLZDA | |
Dear St. Serra Parents,
Today, our PTO is sponsoring our first community event of the year, Serra Fest, with Rogue Radio performing. It will be a wonderful evening of music, food, and camaraderie that is going to be supported by many Serra Families.
At St. Serra our events are divided into events like this one, that are designed to foster community, and those that are designed as fundraisers. Our fundraising events support our annual fund, which bridges the financial gap between tuition income and the actual operating costs of the school. Every fundraising dollar has a direct impact on the educational experience of our Serra students, whether it be in the form of technology upgrades, campus improvements, teacher professional development, student enrichment programs, or financial aid for our families in need. We are asking for your participation in and support for these very important events throughout the year. A lot of behind-the-scenes planning is necessary to ensure that these events run smoothly and successfully and many thanks to those who make these events possible.
One of our major fundraising events is our annual golf tournament, Golf Classic. It will take place on October 20 at Arroyo Trabuco golf course in Mission Viejo. We hope you will join us on the course as a golfer, a volunteer, or for the Caddy Shack themed after party. Additionally, we would be very grateful for donations to our silent auction. It is our St. Serra community who make these events possible, and I would like to thank all of our families, friends, and sponsors who continue to support our needs at Serra. It is people like you who make Serra what it is!
Always striving,
Tim Tolzda
Sr. Principal
