St. Thomas' Episcopal Church has been invited to participate in the National Fund for Sacred Places.

St. Thomas' Episcopal Church is honored to announce that it has been selected to participate in the National Fund for Sacred Places, a prestigious grant program that supports the preservation

of historic sacred sites across the United States.

Below is the link from the National Fund for Sacred Places website.

Through this partnership, St. Thomas' may be awarded a grant of up to $192,000 to support the replacement of the church’s 135-year-old slate roof. St. Thomas’ was built in 1891 after being designed by British architect Henry Vaughan. Replacement of the roof is an essential project to preserve the integrity and beauty of the historic structure.

For participation in this program, St. Thomas' must embark on a local fundraising effort equal to the maximum amount that could be

awarded. This matching campaign will engage parishioners, friends, and community supporters in ensuring that St. Thomas' continues to serve as a vibrant place of worship, community

gathering, and outreach for generations to come.
