A HEART-FELT THANK YOU!
A big thank you to each and every person who made an effort to attend the congregational meeting on May 1 to elect a new church council. The show of love and support for St. Thomas was evident and
we cannot fail with that kind of
energy and commitment. Please continue the support with your weekly attendance
at services and contributing
to the tasks and goals of the church
by being active on a committee.
The newly-elected council
members are:

Wendy Brozek
Salvo Finazzo

Congratulations to the
new members
and to those who were concerned and willing to take on the responsibility by being candidates!
Officers will be voted in at the first council meeting.
All council meetings are open to the public, unless otherwise indicated.
Minutes of meetings are available to the public, as well.
SEMI SYNOD NEWS
Even as we continue to give thanks for the life and ministry of Pr. Lauren Kirsh-Carr,
Bishop Don Kreiss is pleased to announce that Pr. Jennifer Kiefer, St. John Lutheran Church, Dundee, has accepted an invitation to serve on Synod Staff. Pr. Kiefer will start in this position on June 1.

Meanwhile, Pr. Jack Eggleston who has been working part-time on Synod staff will step away from those responsibilities at the end of May. We give thanks to God for his ministry and willingness to share his wisdom and experience during this time.

Pr. Kiefer currently serves as Dean of Conference 9 and as the Synod’s Director of Worship. She is married to Chris; they have two school age children.
Passages - A Dual Celebration
