UPDATE AS OF JULY 27, 2021
FACE MASKS REQUIRED INDOORS

Due to the recent spike in COVID-19 infections and the rapid spread of the Delta variant, face masks are mandatory indoors at St. Bernardine until further notice. For more information, please read the letter found on our parish website.

Thank you to all the parishioners who have complied with this new order during these past couple of weeks. Your cooperation and understanding is so greatly appreciated! For any other questions, please contact the Parish Office at (818) 888-8200.
IN MEMORY OF..

On July 10, 2021, Ralph Oliva, a faithful servant of God and active member of our parish community, was called home to the Lord. Ralph and his beloved wife, Marilyn, were so much of the part of the St Bernardine Family since 1969. His loving children, Nancy, John, Dan, and Mary attended CCD here and were confirmed. Ralph and Marilyn were present any time help was needed, whether it was service, prayer, or monetary support. They both were Eucharistic Ministers up until the time they were no longer able to do so. Ralph’s loves were Jesus and his Catholic faith, his wife, and family.

Services for Ralph will take place this Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 1:00 PM here at St. Bernardine.

Please keep Marilyn and the family in your prayers.

St. Bernardine apologizes to the Oliva family for not mentioning Ralph’s passing in the petitions for Sunday Masses or passing information along to the community in the bulletin.
DRIVE THROUGH COMMUNION

SANDWICH SUNDAY - AUGUST 1ST

This Sunday, August 1, is Sandwich Sunday. We are collecting bagged meals that contain a sandwich, chips, dessert, and fruit. We are also in need of water, socks, and blankets. Please have the items at the church no later than 11:00 AM this Sunday, August 1st. Thank you for your continued support for those less fortunate in our community.
TOGETHER IN MISSION 2021

Our Together in Mission 2021 "Forward with Faith" Annual Appeal is in full swing. We currently are at 52% of our goal. We're half-way there!

A very big "Thank you" to those parishioners who have turned in their pledges up to this point. If you still have not done so, you can still turn in your pledges which will help our struggling parishes and schools in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
There are 4 ways to give to our Together in Mission campaign:

  • Go to the website, TOGETHERINMISSION.ORG
  • Text FORWARD21 to 213-397-0682
  • Use the QR Code.
  • Pick up a Together in Mission envelope found in the church or in the Parish Office. Complete the form and turn it into the Together in Mission baskets at the church or the office.

Thank you!!!
