St. Bride's Church
621 N. Sparrow Road; Chesapeake, VA 23325
  (757) 420 - 7033
April 28, 2021

St. Bride's is open for in-person worship.
The congregation must be masked and distanced.

PLEASE BE RESPONSIBLE.
REMAIN SOCIALLY DISTANCED, ESPECIALLY AFTER MASS,
NO MATTER HOW GLAD YOU ARE TO SEE EACH OTHER.

We know that some people are not yet able to participate in person.
We will continue to live-stream our services.
That may be found by Googling St. Bride's Anglo-Catholic.

Current Mass times are
9:00 am Wednesday, Low Mass
11:00 am Sunday, High Mass

The absent members of the congregation will be remembered in prayer.

The 2021 Flower and Candle charts have been posted.
Please call the office if you have dedications for specific dates.
Form for flower dedications on Mother's Day is listed below.

Altar Flowers for Mother’s Day may be given in memory of or in thanksgiving for someone special.
Please be sure to indicate the name as you wish it to appear in the bulletin.

I would like to donate $          toward the cost of the Mother’s Day Altar flowers and to remember the following names:

In loving memory of:

In thanksgiving for:

Given by:
(Deadline for listing in the Mother’s Day bulletin is Sunday, May 2nd.)

St. Bride's is looking for some additional Ushers.
Current responsibilities will be assisting attendees during the filming of Mass, and ensuring that the participants are socially distant. Ushers will also be responsible for pushing the button on an I-phone (provided) to begin recording the Mass, and stopping the recording following the Mass.
Please see or call Mary Lovell if you are interested.
The Rosary Group will begin meeting in-person this Thursday.
The group meets from 7:00 PM until 7:30 PM. The Mysteries are prayed in rotation according to the church season. Currently we are praying The Glorious Mysteries.
Beginners Welcome!
The Diocese has approved choir practices, as long as the singers are masked and
socially distanced. We are looking for some strong voices to join the choir.
If you have friends and family who are singers, please let Ralph know.
We will be happy to give them a call.
