DIOCESE OF SOUTHERN VIRGINIA
ARE TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED.

However we have begun to film and post services on the St. Bride's Facebook page.
(Search: Saint Bride's Anglo-Catholic Parish).
The Second Sunday in Lent service is posted.
We have resumed Wednesday Masses at 9AM. At this time they are restricted to Fr. Jesse and one other person or family unit per Wednesday. If you are interested in attending on Wednesday, please make a reservation with the office or call Mary Lovell at 757-237-2503
The 2021 Flower and Candle charts have been posted.
Please call the office if you have dedications for specific dates.
St. Bride's is looking for some additional Ushers. Current responsibilities will be assisting attendees during the filming of Mass, and ensuring that the participants are socially distant. Ushers will also be responsible for pushing the button on an I-phone (provided) to begin recording the Mass, and stopping the recording following the Mass. Once In-Person church has resumed, usher duties will include the traditional tasks of handing out bulletins and monitoring the flow of the congregation during Communion. Please see or call Mary Lovell if you are interested.
We will be collecting canned goods during
Lent to benefit
St. Matthews food closet.
Drop your cans/dry goods at Church during office hours
or use a key if you have one. Place them in the
box on the kitchen counter. If you would prefer you may send a check or bring money by. We will use the funds to purchase Food Lion gift cards.
Our parishioners as well as others in need may receive assistance from the food closet.
