The Fifth Sunday After The Epiphany service is posted.
Now that Fr. Jesse has arrived, we have resumed Wednesday Masses at 9AM. At this time they are restricted to Fr. Jesse and one other person or family unit per Wednesday. If you are interested in attending on Wednesday, Please make a reservation with the office or call Mary Lovell at 757-237-2503
The 2021 Flower and Candle charts have been posted.
Please call the office if you have dedications for specific dates.
In an effort to get to know the parish at a time when we can't gather, Fr. Jesse will be delivering Ordo Calendars to St. Bride's families. They will be dropped on your porch this week and next week as he has time. If you are available when he drops by feel free to say "Hi" or have a chat through the storm door.
ASH WEDNESDAY
9AM
We will be having a parking lot service!
You will park your cars but stay in them - just like a drive-in movie. Fr. Jesse will say Mass and the imposition of ashes will be included. Both the Eucharist and the ashes will be shared reverently and safely as you sit in your nice warm cars.
ASH WEDNESDAY
3 PM
An Ash Wednesday High Mass with imposition of ashes will be sung on
Ash Wednesday at 3PM. This service will be held in the church and will
be filmed and posted on our Facebook page.
St. Bride's is looking for some new Ushers. Current responsibilities will be assisting attendees during the filming of Mass, and ensuring that the participants are socially distant. Ushers will also be responsible for pushing the button on an I-phone (provided) to begin recording the Mass, and stopping the recording following the postlude. Once In-Person church has resumed, usher duties will include the traditional tasks of handing out bulletins and monitoring the flow of the congregation during Communion. Congratulations to Ray and Janet Hogwood on the birth of a great-grandddaughter.
Reese James Hogwood has arrived in North Carolina and joins her big sister, Adalin.
We are so happy for the entire Hogwood family.
Help Wanted!
Fr. Jesse needs someone to help hang a few pictures and a pull-up bar at his home.
He is unable to do complete the project due to his broken shoulder.
