The Wednesday Morning Mass is a great time to come. There are only a handful of

Please call him or the office to set up a time.

TRANSITIONS

SR. CHRISTINE
We are saddened to hear that Sr. Christine, a member of the Sisters of St. Margaret, died November 19. Sr. Christine was known personally to Mary Lovell, Fr. Jesse and Sophia as well as virtually to many members of St. Bride’s as the Nun who read the lessons in the on-line streaming Masses from All Saints, in which we participated during our COVID shut down.
Sr. Christine was the Choir Mother for the Boys’ Choir, arranged altar flowers, gardened at the church and the Rectory and crocheted hats and scarves for the homeless and prayer shawls for patients in local hospitals.
The Sisters of St. Margaret are an Episcopal Religious Order of mission focused Sisters living an ancient tradition with a modern outlook. Their houses are located in Massachusetts, New York City and Haiti.
May her Soul and the Souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God, Rest in Peace.

CLIFFORD LIND
Our condolences to Sophia and Fr. Jesse on the death of Sophia's grandfather Clifford Lind on November 24th in Harrisonburg. Mr. Lind was active in his community, a man of great faith and beloved by his family.
May his Soul and the Souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God, Rest In Peace.

At this time, although the Diocese is not imposing any diocesan wide mandates, the Diocese strongly encourages indoor masking during public worship.
AT THIS TIME MASKING IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED AT ST. BRIDE'S
  1. Please mask if you are un-vaccinated
  2. Please mask if you are un-able to be vaccinated
  3. If for any reason you are uncomfortable un-masked, please mask.
  4. Please do not mask if you have a medical reason not to.

Remember that a person's reason for masking or un-masking IS NOT OUR BUSINESS. We ask that you refrain from discussion of vaccination or masking in keeping with our long standing policy of avoiding political discussions at St. Bride's.

Please sit where you like, but do be aware of people's need for space.
Social distance as much as possible.

While it is helpful if you bring bulletins or trash out to the bins,
missals, prayer books and hymnals may remain in the pews.

HOW TO PASS THE PEACE AT THIS TIME
As we have a number of people for whom close contact is still not a good idea,
we will continue to pass the Peace with a solemn bow.

The Passing of the Peace should be managed reverently and with no talking other than the authorized responses in the missal. If someone offers to physically Pass the Peace it is fine to fold your hands and bow instead of shaking hands.
Please do what is safe for your situation.

We know that some people are not yet able to participate in church in person.
The absent members of the congregation will be remembered in prayer.
