Mass Availability

Are you not ready to worship at St. Bride's on Sunday, but are missing Mass?
The Wednesday Morning Mass is a great time to come. There are only a handful of
people in the congregation so there is plenty of space.
The service is quiet, contemplative and is said rather than sung.

Fr. Jesse is available to bring Mass to your home if you are unable to get out.
Please call him or the office to set up a time.
The Vestry has committed to getting back to a point where St. Bride's is a place of worship and comfort, not only to our own parishioners but also to this who attend elsewhere on Sundays. To that end we have been sending notifications to the Diocesan Newsletter publicizing The Rosary on Thursday nights and Holy Days such as All Saints' and All Souls' which are not celebrated at all churches.

Please be here to welcome any visitors.
Holy Days 2021

AT BOTH ST. BRIDE'S AND ST. PETER'S WE HAVE
SCHEDULED SOME JOINTLY HELD SERVICES.
PLEASE ATTEND THE SERVICE WHICH MOST SUITS
YOUR NEEDS AND SCHEDULE.

GIRL SCOUTS
Girl Scout Troops 580 and 656 have begun meeting at St. Bride's.
Troop 580 will meet every other Tuesday from 6:45 to 7:45pm. Troop 656 will meet Sundays from 2 to 4pm. Door handles and surfaces will be sanitized after their meetings. Tables will be left up to air out. Our recommendation as children will not have been vaccinated is that Parishioners avoid working in the Parish Hall on Tuesday evenings and Sunday afternoon.
We are happy to have these young people back at St. Bride's!
Mark Your Calendars
Mark your calendars for the Parish Annual Meeting.
It will be held on Sunday, December 5 following the 11AM Mass.
PARISH NORMS
At this time, although the Diocese is not imposing any diocesan wide mandates, the Diocese strongly encourages indoor masking during public worship.
AT THIS TIME MASKING IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED AT ST. BRIDE'S
  1. Please mask if you are un-vaccinated
  2. Please mask if you are un-able to be vaccinated
  3. If for any reason you are uncomfortable un-masked, please mask.
  4. Please do not mask if you have a medical reason not to.

Remember that a person's reason for masking or un-masking IS NOT OUR BUSINESS. We ask that you refrain from discussion of vaccination or masking in keeping with our long standing policy of avoiding political discussions at St. Bride's.

Please sit where you like, but do be aware of people's need for space.
Social distance as much as possible.

While it is helpful if you bring bulletins or trash out to the bins,
missals, prayer books and hymnals may remain in the pews.

HOW TO PASS THE PEACE AT THIS TIME
As we have a number of people for whom close contact is still not a good idea,
we will continue to pass the Peace with a solemn bow.

The Passing of the Peace should be managed reverently and with no talking other than the authorized responses in the missal. If someone offers to physically Pass the Peace it is fine to fold your hands and bow instead of shaking hands.
Please do what is safe for your situation.

We know that some people are not yet able to participate in church in person.
The absent members of the congregation will be remembered in prayer.
Happy November Birthdays!
