2nd Sunday of Easter
Ordinary Time - Cycle B
Year of St Joseph

Saint Charles Borromeo
eBulletin
Happy Easter (Liturgically, we celebrate Easter until Pentecost)! Jesus is RISEN and we are alive in Him evermore!
“We are an Easter people and Alleluia is our song”
Just a couple bullet points from Easter Sunday.

*Bolting. Instead of bolting away from church as soon as mass is over, let us BOLT to each other. By bolting to God and each other we are going to be counter-cultural and form Christian community. Community in Christ is the heart of all I want to see here at St. Charles Borromeo.

*JOY- Talk about a joyful Easter Mass. Palpable! Many people, both old and young, told me that was the most joyful mass they had ever been to. We are choosing JOY = Jesus Over You. Jesus over money, things, “my Sunday Morning”, my day and my way, every thought and action, ego, impatience, stress, unforgiveness, greed, selfishness, The Padres, bolting, etc.

*Reveille- Wake up! What does Jesus want you to wake up to? How will you wake up to what Jesus wants you to wake up to?

*Guarantee- I guaranteed to everyone that you can have the best life if you give your heart to Christ and each other in this community. I have seen this happen over and over again in my 3 2/3 years here and I am convinced of this truth. So, how much of your heart have you given here? Who knows you at St. Charles and who is walking with you in Christ? May it happen more and more deeply!

Peace be with you my friend!

+Fr. John

Blessed By the Best Program

We are blessed by having so many generous parishioners! While Father's goal was 100% participation (everyone commit to the mission of the church by committing to donate a set amount - no matter what amount) we fell short, but not by much! It is not too late to click on the 'eCommitment Card' link below and pledge your support to our parish. We are excited to see what the Lord has in store for us as we begin to open up as we emerge from the pandemic.

Parish Updates:
Reminder: You have a number!
In an effort to better serve you and the parish more efficiently we have been hard at work assigning each registered parishioner an 'envelope number'. Think of this as your personal parish ID number. It will better allow us to track all of your donations, find you in our files, and send out reports.
If you would like to find out your assigned number please contact Elisa at the front office or email her HERE
