INTENTIONAL
TIME OF PRAYER
Sunday, May 10th
8 pm
The Capital Region Interfaith Council is asking people of all religious traditions, in the City of Ottawa and environs, to spend an hour in meditation and prayer about the Pandemic. Know as you do this that you will be joining peoples of all faith traditions in a common act of devotion. We pray for essential services, for Health Care workers, for all First Responders, for the sick, for those struggling with the isolation of physical distancing, and for the greater care of God's creation. If it makes sense to you perhaps light a candle and place it in the window as a sign of your prayer. Let us join our voices in solidarity with people of faith all over the region.

SPECIAL APPEAL
COVID-19 has turned upside down how The Well, St Luke's Table and Centre 454 work! The people they serve are some of the hardest hit by this pandemic and more people are looking to these ministries for support. The day programs are responding by working together to deliver food and personal care items, and engaging those they serve with a safe place to share their hardship and concerns. Please read the
appeal and consider donating to this valuable Anglican ministry!

DONATE
While we in Canada are suffering the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, the situation for countries in the Global South is even more dire given their limited health facilities and supplies of PPE. The Primate’s Fund has made a grant of $200,000 to its Covid-19 response around the world and here in Canada. Please consider a donation to help our partners overseas. Click
here for more details and information on how to donate online.

LET YOUR MIND WANDER
We are still getting used to spending all of our time at home. And if you’ve got kids, you’re no doubt trying to find new ways to keep them (and, let’s be honest, yourself) from climbing the walls, literally. G Adventures have created two sets of
printable activity sheets, one for adults and one for kids, that will encourage you to think about your daily life in unique and creative ways. Since we’re spending all of our time surrounded by the familiar things at home, it’s a great time to take pause and see our world a little bit differently.
