SUNDAY SERVICE

Second Sunday of Easter
Sunday, April 11 at 9:30am

Join us here at St John's for online worship this Sunday. We are continuing with our new format this Sunday. Part one of the service will be here on youtube followed by part two on Zoom. Once the service is finished we will have our regular Sunday Coffee Hour.

PARISH COFFEE HOUR

Wednesdays
10am, via Zoom

Join Gary and your fellow parishioners with your favourite mug of coffee/tea to engage in fellowship.

Mark your calendars and on the day "zoom in" at this link at 10 am to catch up with parish friends both new and old.

ps: If you don't have computer access and would like to join this coffee hour call the Church Office and we can provide you with instructions on how to access via telephone.
WHAT'S HAPPENING
THE SHOP IS CLOSED

We have just listened to Premier Ford’s announcement regarding the province-wide lockdown due to Covid-19. All stores offering non-essential items are closed, effective 12:01am on Thursday, April 8, 2021 for a period of 4 weeks. Curb-side pick-up is allowed but is not something that is helpful for us.

On a positive note, we are ready for re-opening when that time arrives. All the winter stock has been removed and the 35 bins of spring/summer clothes have been sorted and displayed. The shop looks bright and colourful - Audrey, our mannequin, is sporting a fashionable spring ensemble!

Thanks for the team of sorters for their work and fashion sense!
WALK WITH GARY -
*POSTPONED*
Saturday, April 10 at 11am

Due to the recent Stay-At-Home order and the restrictions on outdoor gatherings, we must postpone the Walk With Gary that was planned for tomorrow April 10 at 11am to a later date. Once the lockdown has lifted we look forward to exploring the neighbourhood together once again. In the meantime, stay safe and healthy in body and spirit!
REUNION FOR 8AM PARISHIONERS
Sunday, April 18 at 8am

There will be a reunion of the 8am Parishioners on Sunday, April 18 at...you guessed it...8am! Whether you are a "regular" or an "occasional" attendee of the 8am service, all are welcome!
JERUSALEMA DANCE CHALLENGE
Save the Dates!

To support the Anglican Diocese of Jerusalem on Jerusalem Sunday (The Seventh Sunday of Easter) we invite all of St John's parishioners to dance together in the parking lot across from the church. Bring your dancing shoes and participate in any way you can.

Check out the tutorial videos below by clicking on them.

Sunday, May 9 at 2pm - PRACTICE
Sunday, May 16 at 2pm - THE REAL THING
ONLINE WORSHIP CONTINUES
As the province of Ontario has been given the Stay-At-Home-Order, the Bishop's office continues to keep us apprised of safety restrictions. All services will take place online. However, we hope to see you during our fellowship after Sunday services on Zoom. See the link above or visit our YouTube Channel to watch our services online.

Secondly, a roster of volunteers comprising Vicki Robinson, Emmy Verdun and Bea Robertson will cover most of the day-to-day administration tasks including handling correspondence such as email, regular mail, phone messages, etc., procuring church supplies, coordinating activities of various church groups, and so on.

Finally, Ted Reeve, a member of our newly established Property & Building Committee will look after rentals. Many thanks go to all those who have agreed to help out.
