DECEMBER SING ALONG

Sunday, December 13th
4.30 pm

Our traditional fall hymn sing is going to take a different form this year. You are invited to join Gordon and the choir for a Zoom sing-along! We will sing hymns and carols for the Advent season as well as some Christmas favorites. Each hymn will be introduced, and then everybody will *mute* their Zoom connection, and the music will be broadcast with the words on the screen and the choir singing. You are invited to sing along in your home - if we can't sing together, at least we can sing simultaneously!

From O Come, O Come Emmanuel to Joy to the World, this will be an hour of festive, beautiful music, something to lift your spirits and to bring everyone some of that St John's musical zing. Mark this on your calendar. We are looking forward to making a joyful Advent/Christmas noise!
A CHRISTMAS READING IDEA FROM PAT+

You might like to ask for Michael Curry's book, "Love is the Way, Holding on to Hope in Troubling Times" for Christmas.

We will find an evening in the middle of January to meet on Zoom to compare notes and discuss this beautiful, inspiring and encouraging book.
