This year's race will not be running past St John's due to the work on Elgin Street, so unfortunately there will be no bell ringing. However, please be aware that there will be limited access for driving and parking so please plan your route to church in advance.

After a successful joint Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and Easter Vigil Service, Beth and Victoria invite you to come and socialize together! Enjoy a drink (alcoholic or non), snack on some chips or pretzels, and meet new friends in the beautiful Army Officers' Mess. There is parking, as well as an accessible entrance from the lot, and the Mess has a dress code - so please wear something other than jeans, sweatpants or shorts. There will be a donation jar if you wish to help cover the rental cost. Looking forward to seeing you there!

DIOCESAN CONFIRMATION SERVICE

Regular services will be held at St John's this Pentecost Sunday but you are also welcome to attend the Cathedral to support our candidates, Brandon, George, Barton, Kimberly and Evelyn, who will be presented by our Rector and confirmed by our Bishop. Please make sure to congratulate them!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
It is so nice to enjoy Coffee and Lemonade and chat with folks at 9 am before the 9.30 Service on summer Sunday mornings.

We need your help! If you could volunteer to cover one or two Sundays over the summer please be in touch with Laura in the Church Office Laura@stjohnsottawa.ca

Good news, no coffee making skills are required! The coffee will be ready we just need someone to bring the coffee at 8.45 am from the coffee shop a few doors away. Then after the Service the same (or another) volunteer could return the gear and tidy-up.
