Sabbatical
Glimpses

Aparfeelie, the home of Jane and +Mark Strange, on the Black Isle near Inverness. +Mark is the Bishop of the Diocese of Moray, Ross and Caithness and the Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church. Having stayed with me a couple of years ago, their place became my home away from home in Scotland. The church , part of the local parish, is another St John's! Such a wonderful place from which to tour the Highlands with +Mark, learn of the history of the land and church, and enjoy true Scottish hospitality.
St John's Bridge Club is looking for Bridge Players
There are six returning pairs this year and they would be pleased to have other bridge players join. Members arrange games in their homes at mutually convenient times, playing about ten times from September to May, or about once every three or four weeks. There is a wind-up supper and fun game at St John’s in June. The dues are $15 per person towards the supper. You do not have to be an accomplished player as near beginners are included. If you don't have a bridge partner, but are interested in playing, the club will try and find one for you. Questions? Contact Bill Broughton, ( billndora@rogers.com )

SNAPSHOT: EAGLE IN HIGHLY POLISHED STATE!
