Praise for Fr DJ and Sam
"Father Griffin is a sincere, loving and faithful servant of Christ, who has the innate ability to take complex theological and biblical doctrines and make them accessible for all to understand. Father Griffin and his loving wife Sam, will be a great blessing on Saint Timothy's. "
Fr. Christopher Wood, seminary classmate
Father Griffin will fit right in at St. Timothy's! He is passionate about what we do here, and has some great ideas about what he can add to our ministries here at St. Timothy's. His wife Sam has an infectious energy and together they are such a fun couple that will be a positive addition!
Beckie McLean, Senior Warden
Fr DJ has a passion for formation and liturgy. He and his wife will be assets to St. Timothy's. I eagerly anticipate their arrival!
Kristen Machado, Vestry
Father DJ and Sam are the answers to our prayers! They are both sincere Christians and take their ministry very seriously. Our parish and our youth will benefit from this unique duo. I am so thankful that they accepted the call to come to St. Timothy's.
Ashley Robbins, Junior Warden
It was a joy to meet Fr DJ and his lovely wife, Sam, during their recent visit to Winston-Salem. He is very thoughtful, articulate, eager to serve where needed, and seems passionate about doing God's work. I think he will be a great asset to St Timothy's.
Megan Farrell, Vestry
I was extremely impressed with the sincerity of faith expressed by both Father D.J. and his wife Sam. I also appreciated Father D.J.'s thoughtful homily, love of liturgy, and the fact that he did not shy away when Father Steve asked him to sing on the spot. I eagerly welcome them both to our St. Timothy's family.
Robert Matthews, Staff
Almighty God, you have called your servant DJ to your Holy Priesthood and, in your Good Providence, have called him to our parish. We praise you for your goodness and provision and we ask your blessing upon DJ and Sam. Bless your Church and fill us with all we need to love, adore, and serve you in this life that we may come into your Glorious Presence in the life to come, through your Son Jesus Christ Our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
now and for ever. Amen.
