Greetings!

building hope this spring.

This season invites us to reflect on renewal, faith, and the promise of new beginnings. As we celebrate Easter, we’re reminded of the hope and possibility that come with new life and brighter days ahead. Through partnership and a shared belief in that future, we continue building safe, affordable homes for families across the St. Vrain Valley.

That same spirit of renewal is carrying us into an exciting season, with the opening of our new ReStore on the horizon and new opportunities to support this work together. Thank you for being part of this community and this work of hope.

welcome home

Nataly, Fernando, and their family recently moved into their new Habitat home, and we were honored to celebrate alongside them at their home dedication. Moments like these are a powerful reminder of what’s possible when a community comes together.

For their family, becoming homeowners “means the world.” It brings something they’ve been hoping for — “having the stability for our family.” As they look ahead, they’re most excited for a sense of “calm and peace,” sharing that “where we are now doesn’t feel safe.” Through Habitat, they now have a place where that sense of safety and stability can grow.

Because of the support of our community, families like Nataly and Fernando’s are able to build a future rooted in safety, stability, and hope.

the next ReStore chapter

Help us set up our new ReStore!

We’ve officially closed the doors at our Sherman Drive location — and we’re so grateful for everyone who shopped, donated, and volunteered there over the years.

Now, we’re getting ready to open our new ReStore at 33 S Pratt Parkway, and we need your help to bring the space to life. Volunteers are needed to support setup efforts like organizing inventory, moving items, and preparing the store for opening. Whether you can lend a few hours or a full day, your time makes a meaningful difference in helping us reopen and continue supporting affordable housing in our community.

We are also looking for administrative volunteers to help in the office. If you have skills with computers or Microsoft Office, please send your resume to Doris Crespo, our volunteer Coordinator, at dcrespo@stvrainhabitat.org.

Let’s make homeownership possible — together.

support local families. adopt a duck.

We’re excited to be part of the 2026 Estes Park Rotary Duck Race, a fun community event supporting more than 60 local nonprofits — including St. Vrain Habitat for Humanity.

By adopting a duck, you can choose Habitat to receive the proceeds, helping support affordable homeownership right here in our community. Ducks will race down the Big Thompson River on May 2, with chances to win prizes along the way.

It’s a simple and fun way to make an impact — every duck adopted helps build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.

beloved community

Beloved Community is a Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley initiative inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision of people living in reconciled community through the practice of nonviolence. This work brings people together across differences to build understanding, choose love over hate, and take meaningful action toward a more just and connected community. Through opportunities like the Beloved Community Speaker Series, local leaders share how they live Dr. King’s principles through advocacy, leadership, and service. There are many ways to get involved — from community conversations and monthly build days to special events like Salam Build on Saturday, April 10. To stay connected, sign up for the Beloved Community newsletter and register for upcoming speaker series events below.
