As we begin the new year, we’re reflecting on the progress we’ve made together and the people who made it possible. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, partners, and supporters, more families moved closer to safe, stable housing across the St. Vrain Valley. With gratitude for what we’ve built and momentum for what’s ahead, we’re continuing the work of building homes and communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

As we look back on 2025, we’re filled with gratitude for this incredible community and all that we’ve accomplished together.  

Thank you to the donors who gave so generously at year end, on Colorado Gives Day, and on Giving Tuesday—your support creates real, lasting change for families in our community. We’re also deeply thankful to our sponsors and everyone who joined us for the Gift of Home Tour in December; it was a wonderful success because of you. And to our amazing volunteers, thank you for the countless hours, care, and dedication you shared this year. You are helping make affordable homeownership possible!

Introducing Beloved Community, a Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley initiative inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision of people living in reconciled community through the practice of nonviolence. This work brings people together across differences to build understanding, choose love over hate, and take meaningful action toward a more just and connected community. Through opportunities like the Beloved Community Speaker Series, beginning on February 3, local leaders share how they live Dr. King’s principles through advocacy, leadership, and service. There are many ways to get involved — from community conversations and monthly build days to special events like MLK Build Day on February 14. Join St. Vrain Habitat on a Global Village trip to Romania, May 23–30, 2026, to help build safe, affordable homes for refugees and vulnerable families.

No construction experience is needed—just a willingness to serve and learn alongside local families and Habitat staff.

Who can join: Ages 15+ (minors must be accompanied by an adult).

Trip includes: lodging, meals, training, medical insurance and a donation supporting Habitat’s mission. Airfare is purchased separately for flexibility.
