Since 2016 St. Pius X has been participating in Giving Tuesday, the global giving day typically celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and followed by the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday. At St. Pius X, Giving Tuesday is celebrated EARLY, StPX Giving Day Thursday November 6, 2025!
What is StPX Giving Day?
StPX Giving Day is when the friends, alumni, students, parents, faculty, and staff of the St. Pius X family are extraordinarily supportive. Rallying around our 24-hour giving day which fuels The Fund for St. Pius X (our annual fund). Share it, ask your employer to donate, donate your treasures, your time and your talents. Assist St. Pius X Catholic High School pursue opportunities for growth, innovation and student success. Our goal is $100,000 in one day!

Jostens
Jostens will be meeting with the Seniors regarding orders for cap, gown, tassel, and announcements on Friday, October 17, 2025 (That is the date change). They will return on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 to receive orders.

Cognia School of Distinction Accreditation
St. Pius X Catholic High School is proud to be recognized as a 2022 Cognia™ School of Distinction, an honor awarded to only 96 schools out of more than 1,500 worldwide, and to just a handful in Missouri. This recognition followed a rigorous accreditation review in which St. Pius X earned an exceptional Index of Education Quality score of 365 out of 400, far exceeding the national average. This accreditation is valid for six years and highlights the school’s strong leadership, outstanding learning environment, and commitment to educating the whole child, academically, spiritually, and personally. Missouri Baptist University Opportunities
- Missouri Baptist University (MBU) will provide graduates from StPX with a $24,000 scholarship.

Spartan Preview Day at Missouri Baptist University is Friday, October 10th. MBU hosts this event each year in the fall and spring, inviting prospective students to campus to experience MBU. This includes options to attend academic sessions taught by MBU faculty and tour campus. Lunch is provided! Here is a link to sign up!

Jefferson College
Jefferson College is our local two year community college. Students can use A+ to earn FREE tuition to attend Jefferson College. It is vital for our seniors that plan on attending Jeffco to come meet with the rep and find out about their admissions and scheduling process. Students that are interested in Jeffco’s specialized programs such as Nursing, Radiology, HVAC, Welding, their fine arts programs, and their athletic programs should come meet with the rep.

Truman State University is a four year public university with outstanding programs and a beautiful campus. It is located in Kirksville, MO.

McKendree University
McKendree is located across the river in Lebanon, Illinois. It is a four year private university. It is a smaller university with many great academic programs, athletic programs, and scholarships available to our students. McKendree is one of the colleges we visit as part of our 583 program.
Monday, October 13
Rockhurst University and Kansas State University Two of our most experienced college reps. These are great reps for our students to speak with about all things college related. Kansas State has an incredible Architecture program for any students interested in that major. Rockhurst is a four year Catholic University located in Kansas City, MO.
