About this section:

This part of your newsletter is for club requests to members, classified ads, and ways that you can advertise with MHAO. At the bottom you have access to information on your Board of Directors, Board meeting dates, etc. This section also includes important news for MHAO members from other organizations that affect the Equine Industry or that might be important to our members. Seat back 2foot 6 inches long.

Shaft 9 foot 3 inches.

Best buy ever. Brand new shape . Unloaded and stored under sheets for 3-4 years. Please feel free to share the good news.

Lease opportunity.

PBP Princess Love A Lee, 2007 Bay Mare, 14.3H (Rum Brook Immortal Prince x ATMF Love Lee Lady). Bella should be enjoyed more than I can give her right now.

Trained and shown by Jean Sauer, Rogue Hill Morgans in Pleasure Driving and was started western when I purchased her in 2013.

In 2021 Bella was leased and ridden in lessons, practice/conditioning hunt seat by 16 yo. girl. Ground covering, go forward walk, athletic extended trot, collected and extended canter/lope gaits which I want to retain. A lead horse, not a follower. I would like her to be trained for neck reining.

Lease duration, disciplines TBD. I will be engaged throughout the lease and her advocate; not disruptive.

1978 through 1980, I leased Morgan horses for my Jr. Exhibitor 14-17 competition years under the direction of Sue Woodson.

This is a very special mare to me! I will not be selling her and 'may' want to breed her in spring/summer 2023 (negotiable).

Free:  Breeding phantom, like new condition.  THINK: 2023 breeding season simplified.

If you have a stallion and are shipping semen (or would like to), you may want to collect at your farm instead of having the expense of hauling him to a veterinarian or reproduction facility.  This phantom was purchased in like new condition, and has never been used by us (maybe not by anyone), it has always been kept under cover and is in excellent condition.  Check online for prices to buy a phantom and then what shipping would be.  (They are heavy suckers!)

This one is free, and we will help load it into your pickup!  Photos available upon request.

Friends! It’s time to find a new home for my trailer. Please share to anyone interested. Located in Arlington, Washington. No holds. No trades. No payments. Priced for quick, uncomplicated sale. $10,750. 2003 Circle J Bronco 4 horse BP. Scale weight empty 4980 lbs. 21’ long. 7’ inside height. 30” wide horse stalls. 36” wide doors. Water tank.

Removable saddle racks. Removable, telescoping dividers. Fiberglass roof (cooler & drier). Vents over each stall. Drop down windows with grills. New tires. This trailer has served me well, but it’s time to downsize. There are some cosmetic defects (mat & window screens need repair, touch up paint, etc), but is structurally sound and reflect this. The Oregon Horse Council works hard to maintain the rights of equestrians across Oregon, but with progressive movement to decrease our trail access, eliminate our land, stop the usage of animals for sport and pleasure and much more – we need to increase our voice! We are excited to launch a Legislative Affairs Committee who will assist our board with taking a stand against the legislation that can negatively impact our industry’s way of life. We invite you to apply to join our committee!
LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS COMMITTEE (OHC LAC):  APPLY HERE
  • 7-11 Key Representatives that are chosen by the OHC board to service with 2-3 year terms

  • Will be publicly promoted so that equestrians can reach out to them with questions or concerns
  • May work with other legislative groups (i.e. Oregon Farm Bureau, Cattlemen’s Association, other state horse councils, etc.)

As the Legislative Affairs Committee is formed, we are also working on formal group that will provide a network with equestrians and equine issues across the state, anyone is welcome to join
