Announcing Changes to the MHAO Stallion Service Auction
The MHAO Stallion Service Auction is now all online
through its close and the close date has been
extended to April 4, 2020 at 3pm PDT
Due to the concerns around the Coronavirus and our desire to protect the well being of all our MHAO members, we have decided to not transition our Stallion Service Auction to a live event via phone. That would have required the assembly of a phone crew to close the auction. We have the capability to conduct our auction entirely online thru its close and have decided to utilize it.

Those who do not have access to a computer or smart phone may place their bids by phone by calling Gay Adams at (503) 936-4276. Online or phone in bidding will support exact or proxy (escalating bids to a set maximum amount) bids. All bidders are asked to provide a credit card number using a Preregistration form prior to the auction close.

We have an ad for the auction scheduled to go out in the March issue of The Morgan Horse magazine. Due to a tight publication & distribution schedule for the March issue compared to when our auction was set to end on March 28th, we have decided to extend our auction close date to April 4, 2020 at 3pm PDT. This will allow bidders time to see the ad with the full list of stallions, and to adjust to the change in the close date and process.

This year we are excited to offer 25 wonderful stallions!
Our sincere thanks to all our donors, agents, & bidders.

MHAO's Spring Time General Membership Meeting Is Cancelled
Given all the directives coming out from our Federal and State governments and in the interest of safety for MHAO members, rather than rescheduling the Spring General Membership meeting the MHAO Board has voted to cancel it. This meeting normally takes place in March or April. We will continue to post Board Meeting Minutes in the Stable Sheet to keep members informed. If anyone wants to bring something up to the Board, please contact me by phone or email.

We hope everyone is well and stays healthy. These are very interesting times indeed. We will continue to monitor what is happening and keep you informed on how the Oregon Morgan Classic and other Morgan events in the Northwest are affected. At the current time, we are planning to move forward with OMC.
Take care everyone!

Oregon Horse Council Establishes a Shopping Facebook Site where Vendors affected by cancelled Oregon events can showcase their wares & services

The Coronavirus has caused the cancellation of horse expos and events across Oregon. The Oregon Horse Council wanted to find a way to support the equine businesses and organizations who were affected and give Oregon horse-lovers an opportunity to shop!
A Facebook group has been created where vendors affected can post ads and information about their products and services. Those wishing to shop with them can see their posts and shop !

Please help our Equine Vendors by shopping with them and by spreading the word about this site!
Thank you!

Only vendors from canceled Oregon horse events may post their info to this page
