It's hard to believe, but it's been a year-plus since I suffered the major medical malfunction that took me out of my salons. To say it has been difficult does not do my struggle justice. But thanks to the endless love and support of family, friends and guests — as well as the countless medical staff who helped me survive and recover from my near-death experience — I am ready to get back to thriving!
Given that, I am so happy to announce that I am again accepting guest appointments beginning October 2025!
For now, my longtime hair-pal Vince Pompeii has invited me to share his space (very near my former Globe Salon at Charleston and Rampart) — something for which I am incredibly grateful. Our industry has changed so much in the past 5-10 years that it is truly wonderful to know that some old-school, community-oriented hairdressers still exist. We are few and far between, so thank you, Vince.
Much of your experience with me will be the same, while some will be new. I will continue to use Wella Professional Color as always, as well as Kevin Murphy products at my backbar (and soon have them available for purchase).
In order to maintain my health, my initial availability will be limited. While I won't be working at one of the three Globe salons I built with James over the past 25 years, I will continue to champion our values of hospitality, gratitude, and skill, aiming to make your experience with me as professional and personable as always.
For payment, I will accept cash or zelle only, at the time of service. Please note that given my circumstances, I will be unable to offer any discounts going forward. My fees remain the same with one exception: My à la carte haircuts are $130 for Women, $80 for Men. However, if you are combining your cut with color on the same appointment, then your fee will be the same as before this aortic dissection thing tried to kill me!
Ready to make an appointment? Please call, voicemail, or text me at 702-595-5686. I ask that you please be patient and understanding. I recognize that my limited availability will be a challenge to some, and it may take some time to see me, but it will be worth it.
It is not lost on me that I survived something most others do not — and that I'm fortunate to be back to doing what I love. I do hope many of you will join me on this next part of my journey.
With gratitude,
Staci
