Staff Flu Clinic Tomorrow Morning

We will be offering a staff-only Flu Clinic tomorrow, Thursday, from 8:00am - 9:45am in the Pediatric Team space. 

• Thursday, November 20th, 8:00am - 9:45am
• Pediatric Team: 269 Union Street, Hayes 3rd floor
• No appointment necessary
• All staff welcome
• Only flu shots will be offered

As announced in October, all LCHC employees must submit flu vaccination documentation (or a signed medical exemption) and COVID-19 vaccination documentation (or a declination form) by November 30, 2025.

We are requiring influenza vaccine and strongly recommending COVID-19 vaccinations for all employees this year. Documentation should be emailed to Chief Compliance Officer Elena Freydin at efreydin@lchcnet.org.

Employees who do not submit documentation by the deadline will be placed on unpaid leave until requirements are met, with further action possible for continued non-compliance.

Staff Benefits Information Now Available!

Lynn Community Health Center will hold its annual Employee Benefits Open Enrollment from November 24, 2025 – December 11, 2025.

Employee benefits are designed to provide you and your family with valuable financial protection and resources to support your health and overall well-being. We also recognize that benefits represent an important part of your total compensation.

Over the past several months, we have explored opportunities to enhance our benefit offerings and make the annual enrollment experience more supportive and accessible. We’re excited to introduce several new benefit enhancements this year, along with personalized education and enrollment support to help you make the best choices for your needs.

Open Enrollment Highlights

• Active Enrollment Required:
  All employees must take action by December 11, 2025 to enroll or waive benefits for the 2026 plan year.
• NEW 1:1 Benefit Counseling:
  To better support employees this Open Enrollment, we’ve partnered with New England Enrollment Strategies (NEES) to provide personalized 1:1 education and enrollment support in person or by phone (booking link here).
• New & Improved Voluntary Benefits through Colonial Life & Mutual of Omaha with guaranteed coverage options: No medical questions during this enrollment!

Building Expansion and Redesign Update

Call Center and IT Moves

Our redesigned spaces are coming to life, and we’re excited to share the latest updates!

Call Center Update

The Call Center has successfully moved to its new location on the 1st floor of 280 Union Street and is seamlessly serving patients from this updated space. Thank you to the call center staff and the IT department for this incredibly smooth transition!

IT Department Update

• The IT team will complete its move by Friday, November 21. This relocation positions IT to better support our technology needs in a modern, collaborative environment.
• Starting Monday, November 24, all staff should go to their offices located in the back of 280 Union Street, 1st floor.

Thank you for your flexibility and support as we continue creating spaces that make the LCHC experience better for everyone.

Holiday Staff Celebration 2026

We’re thrilled to announce this year’s holiday celebration in our newly renovated space—a fresh setting to celebrate our amazing staff and enjoy time together! Our teams have been hard at work with our vendors to ensure this new Café & Lounge space is ready and festive for us. In light of the evolving landscape, focusing on a meaningful gathering rather than a large-scale event. We can’t wait to share this special occasion and look forward to many more celebrations together.

New Office Space Request Form

As we continue to grow and adjust our workspace to meet staff needs, we’re asking all employees to use our New Office Space Request Form for any upcoming workspace changes or requests. Whether you need a new office for yourself or a new hire, a workspace move, or additional accommodations, please take a moment to complete the form so we can plan effectively and ensure timely support.

The Marketing & Communications team has been updating our Intranet to better meet your needs and make it easier to find the information you need.

The North Shore WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counseling program was awarded the 2025 USDA WIC Breastfeeding Award of Excellence for Exemplary Breastfeeding Support and Practices based on performance measures, the peer counseling program, and community partnerships. LCHC North Shore WIC is recognized for providing exemplary breastfeeding promotion and support activities.

The intent of award is to provide models and inspire other local agencies to strengthen their breastfeeding promotion and support activities and ultimately increase breastfeeding initiation and duration rates among WIC participants.

WIC has also officially moved to a new home on the 1st floor of 280 Union Street, now welcoming families in a refreshed, updated space!
