Abe Zanuel Riggs III also known as 'Sonny' has played guitar and done back up vocals in the band ZEKE for 8 years. Zeke are known for their extremely fast, energetic guitar sound. Zeke mixes this with strong influences from hard rock, and occasionally blues-rock, and are often compared to Mot�rhead.
Sonny started playing shows at age 16 making his older brothers jealous. He has toured around the world and has shared the stage with bands such as Pearl Jam, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Jerry Cantrell(of Alice in Chains), Supersuckers, Slip Knot, Misfits, Mudhoney, DOA and countless others. He has recorded several records and been on labels such as Sub Pop, Epitaph and Mans Ruin and recorded with members of Black Flag. Sonny even has music featured in several motorcycling/skate & snowboarding videos & games.
Sonny is a versatile player and has a love of the roots of rock. You can hear influences of Check Berry, The Beatles, Black Sabbath, The Stooges, Ramones, MC5, AC/DC, Queen, CCR and Motorhead in his playing.
Sonny loves teaching and has taught his 9 year old son to proudly rock Cheap Trick at his last talent show.
