From adding new members to our growing team, and organizing our monthly food pantry, the Uplift team has been hard at work. Here's some snapshots of our latest updates.

Meet Noura

Our newest member of team Uplift is Noura, a Case Manager for our Refugee Resettlement program. We sat down with her to share her story and what led her to join team Uplift.

New families are arriving!

We are anticipating over 100 new families arriving in the next few months. Our new arrivals are coming from a diverse background of countries, such as Guatemala, Sudan, Iraq and more. We are excited to welcome these new individuals and to give them the support they need to get their lives started here in America.

This month we were able to provide one of our clients, Mohammad, a car thanks to a generous donor.

Are you a Realtor?

One of our current, biggest challenges is finding affordable housing for our families.

The Afghan Support and Investment Program, also known as ASIP, provides rental assistance for our newly arrived refugees.

There are incentives, such as commissions available to realtors that are interested in helping. If you are or know someone in the real estate business, please reach out if you can be of assistance!

Monthly Food Pantry

As always, our monthly food pantry was a tremendous success. A special thank you to our fantastic volunteers that always show out ready to work hard, assembling and distributing essential food boxes to families in need.

Our next food pantry will be Saturday, June 11th!
