Marisol O. Ramos-Lopez Named
Chief Communications Officer
for RCSD
Superintendent Lesli Myers-Small is pleased to announce the appointment of Marisol O. Ramos-Lopez as Chief Communications Officer, effective September 1, 2020.

Ms. Ramos-Lopez most recently served as the District Clerk and Special Assistant to the Board of Education, a position she held since 2019.
 
Prior to joining the District, Ms. Ramos-Lopez founded The Mindful Sól, an organization working with senior executives and individuals to optimize leadership performance using mindfulness-based solutions. She dedicated 21 years to the City of Rochester serving in various capacities, including Commissioner of Recreation and Youth Services and Chief of Staff to Mayor William A. Johnson. During her tenure at the City, she played a key role in the successful implementation of complex changes and was recognized as an inclusive and mindful leader with a passion for children and families. 
 
Ms. Ramos-Lopez earned her Master’s Degree in Strategic Organizational Management from Keuka College and attended Barry University in Miami, Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications.
