Did you know? Cape May Stage is located inside a building that was constructed in 1853. Over the years, this versatile structure has also housed a Presbyterian Church, a Methodist Church, an Episcopalian church, and the city's Welcome Center.

Since 1993, this historic building has been home to Cape May Stage. With its signature round-arched doors and windows, and an onion-style dome, this building is an example of Exotic Revival-style architecture.

As a professional Equity theater, Cape May Stage is required to provide housing for the talented actors who perform in our main stage shows. With the rising cost of housing in Cape May, last year the board of directors approved the purchase of a home in North Cape May that would be used for this purpose. Thanks to gifts from our donors, this house and the adjoining barn, which will be used as our new scene shop, have been completely renovated and the actors for the upcoming "Double Play" show just moved in.

Whether through donations or by buying tickets, you help to support live theater in the nation's oldest seaside resort and we are so grateful for your generosity! We accept donations in any amount, starting at just one dollar. Every donation is vital to our ongoing success!
