Red Angus Stakeholder Town Hall Webinar

Tuesday, Nov. 26, 7 p.m. CST

Topic: New Red Angus Marketing Opportunity with Sustainable Beef, LLC

We welcome all Red Angus breeders and commercial producers to join Kyley DeVoe, RAAA president, Tom Brink, CEO, and Kelly Smith, commercial marketing director, on a Zoom call to learn more about the exciting marketing opportunity that Red Angus has established with Sustainable Beef, LLC, North Platte, Nebraska.

The first 25-30 minutes of the meeting will be dedicated to explaining how Sustainable Beef’s ground-breaking fed cattle pricing grid will work, and how commercial ranchers can take advantage of what we believe is the most Red Angus-friendly grid in the industry. A question/answer session will follow this presentation. Participants are encouraged to email in their questions. They will be read aloud and responded to live on the call. This is a ground-breaking moment in the history of the breed. Mark your calendar and don’t miss it!

More information forthcoming.

RAAA Board Increases Affiliate Grant Program Budget

Last week, the RAAA Board of Directors voted to increase the Affiliate Grant Program

budget from $6,000 to $15,000 after a surge in AGP applications during the first quarter

of FY 2024-25. The RAAA is pleased to see the renewed interest in the AGP following

several years of decline. The AGP provides affiliates with funding to supplement the

promotional efforts of the national office through their own creative venues. Supported

AGP projects include print advertising, educational events and promotional videos.

“Increasing the AGP budget is a strategic investment in our affiliates and the overall

health of the Red Angus community,” said RAAA President Kyley DeVoe. “This

adjustment will enable us to adequately support the growing number of applications and

demonstrates RAAA’s commitment to supporting affiliate success.”

RAAA encourages affiliates to continue submitting applications, especially given the

increased funds resulting from the budget increase. The AGP application form can be

found at this link. Applications should be submitted to katiemartin@redangus.org.
