The Ohio Coalition for Quality Education recognizes Stambaugh Charter Academy as a 'quality' public charter school delivering student growth. OCQE presented them with a, "School of Excellence" Award.

Stambaugh Charter Academy of Excellence utilizes NWEA Map, a nationally normed set of tests used to measure achievement and student growth.

NWEA Map is a highly respected national testing organization and, unlike Ohio, is stable with their methodology and have reference groups comprised of millions of students across the nation.
