We are currently in Kyuquot at the time of writing and the Chinook fishing has been fantastic. A bright light in the BC Salmon world. Based on this local experience and DFO expectations, the run is expected to be between 85,000 to 144,000 Salmon with a terminal estimate of 120,000 Salmon. These runs remain some of the strongest in the province and equivalent to the 1980-1990s run sizes.
