STAND In The Gap!!! 1/25/23

30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

So SORRY for being gone for so long!! I have been “CHOKED with the cares and riches of THIS life!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Luke 8:14 (KJV)
14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
AMEN AND UNFORTUNATELY AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My house was struck by LIGHTNING-a direct hit-Thursday, 1/12/23 and unbelievable damage incurred. We spent 8 days in a CRAMPED hotel suite and returned home to a tangled/messed up yard of leaning and shattered trees AND.................
Blown internet and TV connections AND shorted out small appliances and TVs and..............only God knows what else????????????????????????
My credit card is almosy maxed out and hoping/PRAYING the insurance will “gladly” reimburse????????????????
Enough of my woes and problems-WE SURVIVED what could of/should us killed us!!
PRAISE THE LORD AND THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And yet others are also suffering and my phone never ceases with other's “cares of THIS life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
In an ancient book I studied MANY, many years ago was written one phrase that has stuck with me over 40 years:
“PAUL WAS NOT ALWAYS HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Let me say that again:
“PAUL WAS NOT ALWAYS HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
I well know this may offend some who preach and believe in ALWAYS divine prosperity....................................
“PAUL WAS NOT ALWAYS HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Sometimes, perhaps MANY times WE find ourselves STUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As another favorite book I quote often says:
“THIS IS OUR PLACE WHICH HAS NO ONE TO HOLD IT BUT OURSELVES!!”
Beloved, wherever YOU find yourself today “perhaps” is EXACTLY where God has/WANTS you to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Perhaps YOU are in a hospital bed or a prison cell or living in a crime infested neighborhood.....................
Perhaps YOU are a harried mother holding down one or more jobs with no help our support.............................
Perhaps YOU are STUCK in a low paying/dead end job with no hope for improvement.............
Well, trust me please-YOU AIN'T ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
