About the Program

Standing in consumer class actions has been a topic of interest following the Supreme Court’s 2021 decision in TransUnion LLC v. Ramirez. As federal courts begin to interpret the implications of this decision in the class action arena, the Supreme Court is set to address standing in class actions once more in Laboratory Corp. of America v. Davis. This presentation will provide an overview of recent developments in standing requirements for class actions and examine future implications in this evolving area of law.

This program is presented by the Litigation Section chaired by Rachael C. Kogen and vice chaired by Lauri K. Martin. Find out more about the section at  BHBA.org.
