Dear CMG Members,


Essential updates for today:

  • Please see today's summary from the CDC and DPH here. 


  • Please click here for an updated Adult Inpatient COVID Treatment Protocol.

  • Local testing access remains stable with reasonable turnaround times for PCR testing at YNHH. There has been some increase in TAT and wait time for appointments since the summer months due to the increased demand. Providers can still fax orders, but if the order is directly placed in Epic scheduling will be quicker.  There is also an option for patients to self-schedule without an order directly in MyChart. Please note there is no option for the results to be automatically sent to providers with this option. There remains access to same day rapid antigen tests at local urgent care centers (Docs MD). We will be collecting information for testing access at multiple facilities and update this on a regular basis.
  • Directions for placing COVID orders into Epic
  • YNHH Patient Self Scheduling Website

  • Deadline of 11-06-2020 for New Phase 3 Provider Relief Funding. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), is announcing $20 billion in new funding for providers on the front-lines of the coronavirus pandemic. Read more.

  • PPP Loan Forgiveness. PPP borrowers may be eligible for loan forgiveness if the funds were used for eligible payroll costs, payments on business mortgage interest payments, rent, or utilities during either the 8- or 24-week period after disbursement.   • Post-COVID-19 Practice Recovery Survey Results. This past July, CMG member practices were invited to complete a survey on the challenges facing their clinicians, employees and offices. Those results provided meaningful data on a wide range of issues. Your responses facilitated frank discussions with insurance carriers and helped guide decisions on how best to serve the needs of our members. This info-graphic highlights key data points from our survey.

  • YNHH is extending their Employee and Family Resource Program to all members of the medical staff and their families for the duration of the public health crisis. This program provides a variety of wellness programs including emotional support, legal and financial advice, including the ability to meet with a counselor for a number of visits free of charge. It offers many resources to help us deal with these challenging times. All of these services are completely confidential and no personal information is shared with YNHH.
